We had some good storms roll through yesterday afternoon, but it didn’t seem to hurt the fishing all that much. We got reports of decent Hendricksons, BWO’s, Blue Quills and Apple Caddis hatching on the Main Stem and anglers were able to find some fish eating them. The forecast for today is calling for rain showers in the morning with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon. They’re calling for winds out of the SW at 10-20 mph.
Hatching:
Little Black Stoneflies – #14-18
Black caddis – #16-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18–24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Midges – #18-24
Hendricksons #12-#14
Apple Caddis #14-16
Quill Gordon #12-#14 (Sporadic)
