Yesterday the wind started right when the bugs started hatching which made conditions difficult. Some anglers managed to find some fish willing to eat small to medium sized, natural colored streamers before the bugs started hatch. Anglers willing to wait out the wind were able to find some fish looking up for Hendricksons and Apple Caddis in between the gusts. The forecast for today is calling for partly cloudy skies with a high of 72 degrees and winds out of the West at 5-10 mph.
Hatching:
Little Black Stoneflies – #14-18
Black caddis – #16-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18–24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Hendricksons #12-#14
Apple Caddis #14-16
Quill Gordon #12-#14 (Sporadic)
