The river came to life after the thunderstorm rolled through in the afternoon yesterday. Hendricksons, caddis and spinners all took good fish yesterday. Junction pool had numerous fish working when I stopped by last night. A good cloud of spinners mixed with caddis was visible from the parking lot around 7 pm. The branches are beginning to fish more consistently so that should help to spread out the crowds. The forecast for today is calling for partly cloudy skies with a high of 61 degrees and winds out of the NW at 10-15 mph.
Hatching:
Little Black Stoneflies – #14-18
Tan caddis – #16-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18–24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Hendricksons #12-#14
Apple Caddis #14-16
