River Report / Conditions – May 13, 2018

May 13, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

Given the weather we had, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the BWO’s showed up in good numbers yesterday.  The anglers we spoke with reported a good day on both the East Branch and Main Stem with BWO’s.  They reported having multiple targets eating in softer seems and against the banks.  Today could be a repeat of yesterday with the forecast calling for cloudy skies in the morning turning to possible rain in the afternoon with winds out of the SSE at 5-10 mph.

Hatching:

Tan caddis – #16-18

Blue Wing Olives – #18–24

Blue Quills – #16-18

Hendricksons #12-#14

Apple Caddis  #14-16
