It was a good day out there yesterday. The Hendricksons, Blue Quills, Apple Caddis and BWO’s kept the fish looking up on the upper main stem and branches while the tan caddis got the attention of fish lower down on the main stem. We’ve received reports of a few (very few) March Browns making their initial appearance downriver as well. Let’s hope today is a repeat of yesterday. The forecast for today is calling for a.m. thunderstorms and cloudy skies later in the day. Winds are forecast to be WSW at 10-15 mph.
Hatching:
Tan caddis – #16-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18–24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Hendricksons #12-#14
Apple Caddis #14-16
