River Report / Conditions – May 16, 2018

May 16, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

The Lower East, Lower West and Main Stem are off color from yesterday’s heavy rains. The Upper East and Upper West fished well yesterday and were where wade anglers had the most success. Hendricksons were the fly of choice for most anglers we spoke with.  The forecast for today is calling for a quiet day, but much cooler than yesterday.  Winds are forecast to be SE at 5-15 mph.

Tan caddis – #16-18

Blue Wing Olives – #18–24

Blue Quills – #16-18

Hendricksons #12-#14

Apple Caddis  #14-16
