The upper Main Stem cleared significantly over night as shown in the picture at the left. The smaller bugs (bwo’s and blue quills) seemed to dominate yesterday with good hatches on the East and West Branches. Most anglers several targets on the branches yesterday. The fish have been a little picky and a good presentation has been key to sealing the deal.
Hatching:
Tan caddis – #16-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18–24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Hendricksons #12-#14
Apple Caddis #14-16
