Guide Tim Mahoney putting his clients on great fish!

As expected fishing yesterday was great! We finally saw the hatch we’ve been waiting for. The entire river system is fishing well. We expect today to be much of the same. There is a plethora of bugs on the water, the upper West still has Hendricksons coming off in good numbers. The East, Beaverkill, and Lower Main have had Green Drakes. March Browns and Sulphurs have been coming off on the entire system. The forecast for today is calling for a high of 79 and a low of 59. The winds are coming from the north at 9mph’s and a stray storm is possible for today. Tomorrow calls for a high of 69 and low 49 with SE winds at 10 – 15mph.

Hatching:

Tan caddis – #16-18

Blue Wing Olives – #14–24

Blue Quills – #16-18

March Brown #10-12

Sulphurs #14-16
