River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – July 1, 2018

July 1, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

Yesterday afternoon the release from Cannonsville was bumped to 715cfs. This will keep the temps on the lower West in safe fishing range temp wise. The release however did bring some algae with it so subsurface fishing on the Upper West may be a bit cumbersome. Note that 715cfs at Hale Eddy is still more than wadable throughout the entire system. We are told the East is going to be evaluated so we’re still keeping our fingers crossed on that.  The forecast for today is calling for 95/69 with sunny to partly cloudy skies and a W wind at 4-5 mph.
