River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – August 1, 2018

August 1, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

The entire West is fishing well. Prospecting on the lower seems to be the key when nothing else is hatching. The Upper Main to Stockport has also been fishing well and in safe conditions temp wise.  Catching the Tricos on the Lower West/Upper East in the morning, then moving up river towards the late afternoon/evening is a good all day game plan.  The forecast is calling for showers and thunderstorms today, some heavy, and a high/low of 78/68 with SSE winds at 5-10.

Some switch rod dry fly fun
