River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – August 3, 2018

August 3, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

The West Branch had a good amount of Sulphurs coming off in the evening. However, it seems the were selectively feeding on Olives, so be sure to have them handy.    Catching the Tricos on the Lower West/Upper East in the morning, then moving up river towards the late afternoon/evening is a good all day game plan.  The forecast is calling for showers and thunderstorms today, some heavy, and a high/low of 78/68 with SSE winds at 5-10.

Hatching:

Sulphurs #14-#18

BWO #14-#22

Tan Caddis #14-#18

Dark Blue Sedge #14

Spotted Sedge #16-18

Iso #10-#12

Vitreus #14-16

Cahills #12 – #14

Tricos #20-24
