River Report / Conditions – August 19, 2018

August 19, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

Cannonsville is spilling about 1250cfs. The rest of the river is  high and off color. The river has cleared up quite a bit since yesterday. It should be a great day to throw streamers. Pepacton continues to spill putting a lot of warm water into the river making it unsafe to fish for trout.   More rain came in last night which bumped the flows and put some color back into the system.   The release out of Cannonsville remains at 1500cfs. Today’s forecast is calling for  a high/low of 76*/54* with cloudy skies and winds out of ENE at 5mph.
