River Report / Conditions – August 27, 2018

August 27, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

As much as I enjoyed the high water and the crazy streamer bite, it felt good to be able to wade last night. Lots of Olives and Caddis coming off the water last night on the Upper West. The Lower West and Main have had good Iso and Cahill hatches. Olives were in the mix as well. The lower part of the Upper Main has had good whitefly hatches towards the evening.   Today’s forecast is calling for  a high/low of  84*/70* with partly sunny skies and SW  winds at 3 mph.

Hatching:

Sulphurs #16-20

BWO #16-#

Tan Caddis #14-#18

Green Caddis #10

Tan Caddis #14-16

Iso #10-#12

Cahills #14 – #16

Tricos #20-24
