Yesterdays warm temps made the bugs very happy. Strong hatches of Paraleps an Baetis coming off the West from about 1p-4p. Reports were fish seemed a bit snotty, but fish were caught and it was an excellent mid April day in the Catskills.
Hatching:
Blue Quills (Paraleps) #16-18
BWO #16-20
Chimarra Caddis – Not very important as an Adult, but swinging little black soft hackles in riffs can be productive. #16 -18
Little Black/Brown Stoneflies – #14-18
Midges #20-26
