River Report / Conditions – May 3, 2019

May 3, 2019, Author: Frank Rosata

During the day it was bug soup including a mid day spinner fall. The mainstem has been fishing well, with a few more variety of bugs. It seems that low riding Hendrickson patterns have been working the best.

Hatching:

Hendricksons – #12-14

Blue Quills (Paraleps) #16-18

BWO #16-20

Chimarra Caddis – Not very important as an Adult, but swinging little black soft hackles in riffs can be productive. #16 -18

Little Black/Brown Stoneflies – #14-18
