Yesterdays constant breeze helped the bugs off the water a little faster than they normally would be. The wind today should be much less, and flows across the system have been dropping. We are expected to get a shot of rain today which will bumo the flows a little for this weekend. However, there are plenty of wade opportunities on the West, East, and Beaverkill (which is very wadeable). Apple caddis are very strong on the Mainstem right now.
Hatching:
Hendricksons – #12-14
Blue Quills (Paraleps) #16-18
BWO #16-20
Apple Caddis #14 – 16
Grannom Caddis #16 -18
