River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – May 20, 2019

May 20, 2019, Author: Patrick Cook

Last nights rain bumped the flows on the West quite a bit. Wading is going to be extremely difficult at these flows. The East branch however is wadeable at a 1000 cfs.  Still high, but wadeable. The beaverkill is also a good choice for wading. March Browns have been coming off in good numbers and fish are eating them.

Hatching:

Hendricksons – #12-14

Blue Quills (Paraleps) #16-18

BWO #16-20

Apple Caddis #14 – 16

Grannom Caddis #16 -18

March Browns #10 – 12
