River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – August 12, 2019

August 12, 2019, Author: Frank Rosata

Despite some wind yesterday the fishing was pretty good over all. We are still getting that mid day Sulphur hatch on the Upper West. I notice a good bit of fishing keying in on/eating the Tan Caddis coming off so be sure to have those ready as well. Anglers who fished the Lower West/ Upper Main this weekend reported slow dry fly activity but the swinging and nymphing have been productive.

Hatching:

Trico #20 – 24

BWO #16-24

Sulphurs #14-18

Tan Caddis #16 – 18

Cahills #12-14

Isonychia #12
