Both Sulphur hatches (mid-day and evening) are still there, but not as heavy. The hatch is certainly fishable and bringing fish up, but there seems to be a lot of small fish. I received several reports yesterday from anglers fishing the evening on the mid/lower river and did very well. Lot’s of Olives, some Cahills and a decent number of Iso’s. In the early morning be sure to keep an eye out for early morning Olive Spinner falls. The Upper East has been fishing well too. Basically the same bugs with the addition of a mid morning Trico fall. Water is very low and glassy so wade carefully.
Hatching:
Trico #20 – 24
BWO #16-24
Sulphurs #14-18
Tan Caddis #16 – 18
Cahills #12-14
Isonychia #12
