River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – August 19, 2019

August 19, 2019, Author: Frank Rosata

August fishing continues on as normal. We got slight bump in flows last night due to the rain/ runoff but that should come down fairly quickly today. We have a few days of hot weather so I would steer clear of the Upper Main. The Upper West in terms of consistent hatches is still the best bet, but we are seeing a lot of Olives and decent number of Iso’s down low.

Hatching:

Trico #20 – 24

BWO #16-24

Sulphurs #14-18

Tan Caddis #16 – 18

Cahills #12-14

Isonychia #12
