I had the day off yesterday and decided to float the Lower West. Fishing was good. I had Olives as soon as I put in around 12:30pm, and they lasted all day. My main objective was to swing riffles, and it was very productive. I fished a tandem of 2 wets and a small streamer as my anchor. I head hunted in-between runs and saw a lot of fish working, but nothing to my liking so the dry fly rod never came out of the holster. Our weekend forecast looks great and fishing should remain productive. There’s still plenty of dry-fly action left in the season.
