We are shifting into our summer hatches with Isonychia starting to show, and Sulphurs hatching at various times throughout the day, and well into the evening hours. Nymphing during the slow periods has been producing some nice fish. Having a variety of spinner patterns in your boxes will be important as the heavy surface activity has been taking place as the light fades from the valleys.
The majority of the system is starting out clear an cool this morning. We’ll have a few passing clouds, and moderate winds from the north. Give us a call at the shop with any questions about hatches or current conditions!
The fly shop is now open for curbside pick-up and limited foot traffic. We are looking forward to seeing you all and hearing how your season has gone thus far.
We have dates available for guided trips! Give us a call will any questions about booking a fishing trip on the Upper Delaware River!
