We had some strong storms pass through the are yesterday evening. The WB flow at Hale Eddy is currently at 894 cfs and falling. Things should clear up fairly quickly, starting higher up in the system. Streamers are a good bet early on. Look for Bwo’s to hatch in the late afternoons, with Iso’s and Cahills coming off in the evening. Keep an eye out for Flying Ants, as they become a major late summer dry fly opportunity when they are on the water.
Feel free to give us a call with any questions about river conditions.
Cross Current Guide Service is now booking Magic Hour trips in the evenings, 6pm to dark for $250.00 (two angler max). These dates fill up quick so give us a call or email with any questions or booking requests.
