River Report / Conditions – October 29, 2020

October 29, 2020, Author: Patrick Cook

The Cannonsville release is down again this morning with Stilesville at 325 cfs. Hopefully we see the projected 2″ of rainfall over the next couple of days. The Lower East is up a bit and showing some color which will help the streamer bite on that side of the world. With the coming cold snap, a nice slow swing or subtle twitch should prove effective. We’re still seeing olives in the afternoons, so have a few of those and some spinners in your box if you’re looking for dry fly opportunities.

Fall Hours:

The fly shop will be open Wednesday to Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 9am-1pm

Hatching:

Isonychia #14

BWO #18-24

Tan Caddis #14-20

Rusty Spinner #14-22
