River Report / Conditions – November 6, 2020

November 6, 2020, Author: Patrick Cook

We’ve got a warm weekend ahead of us that should provide some great fishing opportunities. We’re still seeing Bwos on top, and the fish are on them in the slower pools and tail outs. Nymphs, fished in the riffles will produce a few fish as water temps warm and the hatches get going.

Streamers will continue to be effective as we move through November. A nice slow swing through likely water has proven productive. Keep things small and on the more natural side of the color spectrum. As fish move into cold weather holding positions, covering water will be key in finding fish that are willing to slide over for a fly.

Fall Hours:

The fly shop will be open Wednesday to Saturday 9am-4pm and Sunday 9am-1pm

Hatching:

Isonychia #14

BWO #18-24
