River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – March 30, 2018

March 31, 2018, Author: Patrick Cook

The West Branch has dropped significantly since yesterday.  I stopped at Buckingham this morning and there was about 2-3′ of visibility.  The main stem should continue to drop throughout the day and provide opportunities for those wanting to float.  Water temps are still low, so fishing low and slow looks like it will be your best bet again today.  The weather looks decent today with sunny to partly cloudy skies and a high of 53 degrees with winds out of the SW at 10-15 mph.

Little Black Stoneflies – #14-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18 – 20

Midges – #18-24
