Yesterday was similar to the last few days in terms of fishing. Streamers still seem to be your best bet to put a bend in your rod. I checked a few spots on the East Branch and Main Stem yesterday afternoon looking for bugs and didn’t see anything of any significance. The warmer temps this weekend should get things going. The forecast for today is calling for showers in the morning turning to a steady rain in the afternoon with a high of 55 degrees. Winds are supposed to be from the SSE at 10-15 mph.
Hatching:
Little Black Stoneflies – #14-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18 – 24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Midges – #18-24
