Yesterday felt like a great day if you were steelhead fishing. Cold, wet and windy summarizes the conditions. We only saw 1 boat put in at Shehawken and didn’t get reports from anyone later in the day. The river definitely got some stain throughout the day and overnight, but it didn’t get too bad. Cannonsville is spilling 169 cfs again as a result of yesterday’s weather. Today the forecast is calling for rain and snow showers with a high of 39 and winds at 10-15 out of the west.
Hatching:
Little Black Stoneflies – #14-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18 – 24
Blue Quills – #16-18
