The water is dropping and clearing nicely. There were still Hendricksons on the West and East Branch yesterday and the fish were definitely eating them, but they’ve become a lot more selective due to the pressure. The Main is seeing more March Browns every day. Levels are still difficult to wade so the Upper West, Upper East and Beaverkill are still your best options. The forecast for today is calling for sunny skies with winds out of the NW at 5-10 mph.
Hatching:
Tan caddis – #16-18
Blue Wing Olives – #18–24
Blue Quills – #16-18
Hendricksons #12-#14
March Brown #10-12
