We’re getting some rain this morning, and the over night temps are dropping which should all help keep the river cool. Not much has changed in the way of bug activity. Sulphurs mid day with Cahills and Iso’s mixed in. Look for Olives on the water today in various sizes #18-24. A size 20 is always my go to. Nymphing between hatches has been productive, but I’d stick more towards the middle of the river due to algae up top. The forecast for today is calling for 77/50 with scattered T-storms in the morning. The wind will come from the NW at 10-20 mph.
Hatching:
Sulphurs #14-#18
BWO #14-#22
Tan Caddis #14-#18
Dark Blue Sedge #14
Spotted Sedge #16-18
Iso #10-#12
Vitreus #14-16
Cahills #12 – #14
