The water is starting to drop/clear and the forecast is looking like Spring! The rivers are still high for wading at the moment, but by this weekend we should have flows where wading access is greatly improved. MArch Browns are starting to show themselves on the Lower Main, Lower East, and Beaverkill. As of right now we are still getting strong Hendrickson hatches with Red Quills being the heavier of the two.
Hatching:
Hendricksons – #12-14
Blue Quills (Paraleps) #16-18
BWO #16-20
Apple Caddis #14 – 16
Grannom Caddis #16 -18
March Browns #10 – 12
