With close to an inch of rain in the area yesterday, the system is running high and stained. A muted streamer with a large profile like Hawkins Hat Trick will be a good choice under these conditions.
At the current levels, wading will be extremely limited and anglers should use caution when choosing fishing locations. Days like today are a great opportunity to explore smaller creeks and feeder streams in search of more favorable conditions.
We are still closed to the public in conjunction with the current PA regulations, but shipping daily from our online store: https://whitetail-fly-
Feel free to call the shop with any questions about products, current conditions, or guided trips which are resuming today 5/15.
