River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – June 12, 2020

June 12, 2020, Author: Patrick Cook

We are shifting into our summer hatches with Isonychia starting to show, and Sulphurs hatching at various times throughout the day, and well into the evening hours. Nymphing during the slow periods has been producing some nice fish. Having a variety of spinner patterns in your boxes will be important as the heavy surface activity has been taking place as the light fades from the valleys.

There is still a fair amount of color in the system from yesterday’s rain, which should clear as the day progresses. Today will be mostly sunny and less humid with wind from the west at 7-10 mph.

The lower sections of the rivers are starting out near 70* today, so make sure to check temps when planning your excursions.

The fly shop is now open for curbside pick-up and limited foot traffic. We are looking forward to seeing you all and hearing how your season has gone thus far.

We have dates available for guided trips! Give us a call will any questions about booking a fishing trip on the Upper Delaware River!
