River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – August 2, 2020

August 1, 2020, Author: Patrick Cook

We woke up to some showers this morning. The over-all precipitation shouldn’t do much to affect the fishing. At this point any rainfall can only help, and we’ll get some cloud cover out of the deal too. Olives and Sulphurs on the smaller side (#18-22) will be your best bet. The East below Harvard, Main Stem, and Beaverkill are all too warm to fish for trout.

Feel free to give us a call with any questions about river conditions.

Cross Current Guide Service is now booking Magic Hour trips in the evenings, 6pm to dark for $250.00 (two angler max).  These dates fill up quick so give us a call or email with any questions or booking requests.
