River Report/Conditions

River Report / Conditions – August 9, 2020

August 9, 2020, Author: Patrick Cook

We had good reports from the river yesterday with fish feeding well on top in the higher flows. The West Branch is still dropping with Hale Eddy at 776 cfs this morning. Water clarity will continue to improve throughout the day. Keep an eye on water temperature if you plan to fish the Beaverkill, East Branch, or Main Stem. As the water tables drop we’ll return to summer temps.

Feel free to give us a call with any questions about river conditions.

Cross Current Guide Service is now booking Magic Hour trips in the evenings, 6pm to dark for $250.00 (two angler max).  These dates fill up quick so give us a call or email with any questions or booking requests.
