We’ve had showers on and off this morning but flows remain consistent as of 8am. there may be another storm or two that passes before noon. Nymphing and swinging wet flies in the heads and tails of the pools has been effective. Swimming nymphs like Iso’s and Stoneflies are around so don’t be afraid to go big. Looks for Bwo’s to hatch in the late afternoons, with Iso’s and Cahills coming off in the evening. Keep an eye out for Flying Ants, as they become a major late summer dry fly opportunity.
Feel free to give us a call with any questions about river conditions.
Cross Current Guide Service is now booking Magic Hour trips in the evenings, 6pm to dark for $250.00 (two angler max). These dates fill up quick so give us a call or email with any questions or booking requests.
